In the neighborhood

We live in a rustic suburban neighborhood without sidewalks, designed for individual privacy. Not easy to meet your neighbors. So a neighborhood "bacon party" last night was fun and informative, with about 50 folks attending the hosts.

I met several wannabe writers. They are everywhere. Really enjoyed talking with a retired PR writer.

Left very baconed out. Hope they do it again (with ice cream).

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.
