Sizzle

I have always prefered heat to cold but I've noticed I like hot days (over 90) less than I used to. An old age change, maybe. At any rate, the current hot spell bothers me more than one used to, so I don't expect to get much done today. Need to put in a lot of uke practice, an impossible song this week, but maybe I can get close at half speed. I like the chord sequences more than the solos.

My favorite 90+ writer, Phyl Kerns, has a new book done, which I'll publish at Amazon for her.

Maybe if I go do into the cool basement and office something will happen, I'll get back to work on the project. At the moment I am overwhelmed by its complexity and difficulty. Not at all sure I can pull it off ... but I do enjoy the attempt. Never boring.

This weekend the WC wraps up. Rooting for England for 3rd and, of course, the USA to win it. Japan got very lucky and was not impressive. The USA could win big if both play like they did in the semifinals. But teams rise to the occasion and a different Japan should show up.
