Writing, having written

Dorothy Parker wrote she hates writing but loves having written. I am the opposite. I love writing! Nothing that happens later matches the high, the joy, of the present tense process of writing. The older I get, the more this is true.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
