Preakness

Will the overwhelming favorite Calif Chrome perform? Hope so.

But anything can happen in a horse race. I learned this when my granddad picked the gray longshot Miche to upset the great Citation at Santa Anita. Miche won! How did granddad do it? "Anything can happen in a horse race."

So I look forward to post time.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
