Changes

After so many years
of hyper-activity
writing obsessively
into a large archive
getting accolades
getting silences
but always writing
for an audience
however small, elite

it is not easy
to understand
how I repeat myself
which suggests
it's time to shut up

it is not easy
to look into the light
and find nothing
not a single shadow

only a sudden
blinding silence.
