Central Park Five

Watched the Ken Burns doc ... rips my heart out, pisses me off.

Result of such major miscarriage of justice? Rationalization, denial, "too bad." At least a minority expresses outrage - but it doesn't change the power structure, the sensational press, or the frenzy of racism.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
