Turn around

Up very early, chores, groceries, back before sunrise. Better mood, thanks to good input yesterday. Brooding about possible project around loss of night skies.

Ah, if my close friends were still alive, navigating the madness would be easier. Great disadvantages in being last one standing.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
