Sunday paper ritual

I miss it. I think the last time I participated was in the late 1970s in Maryland.

Takes at least two people. A fat print edition of a Sunday paper. A table. Coffee. You read and swap sections for an hour or more. Breakfast is usually in there somewhere.

Not the same alone. Closer in a bar with regulars.

Definitely not the same with a digital edition, which is what I read now.

Another lost social ritual.
