This morn's Chronicle:

Thursday night's presidential debate degenerated into a nonstop, two-hour insult-a-thon, with Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz doing everything they could to paint front-runner Donald Trump as a lying, unprincipled, con man willing to say anything to win the party's nomination. Then, of course, they pledged to back Trump if he wins the GOP nomination.
