A dinner project in the oven, breakfast on the stove ... low classical piano on Kindle Fire TV ... Sketch sprawled on the floor, snoring ... Harriet asleep in bed ... and I'm ready to pour my iced coffee.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
