Leaving in style

Just got my classroom assignment for spring term, my last, my farewell class ... a long walk to the Chase bank building, where I taught once before, rooms like corporate board rooms, windows, high class furniture ... so I leave with exercise and the feeling I am a corporate CEO planning something or other. Should be fun.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
