Peace

For the first time, I feel comfortable "resting on my laurels" because, well, my work is in the canon of first generation hypertext, hence important to those few who care about such things, mainly European scholars. This is enough. The effort matters.

A new acceptance for me of my own career: I have an audience, however "high brow." This is enough.

I can say, What a ride! and mean it.

And it's not done yet, or maybe it is, and which doesn't matter.
