Jazz

The common denominator of the past 50+ years: west coast "cool" jazz, which gets much air play in Pdx, so I find myself listening to the same music I "came of age" on ... and I rather like that. Something in my life is constant.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
