Overtime!

USA led 2-0 with only minutes left ... and Canada rushed back to tie. Amazing comeback. This may not finish before my class in half an hour. I am recording at home, anticipating all this (overtime, shoot out, etc).

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
