There's a cable channel that shows live horse races from around the country. Catching a race from a track in Illinois, I am shocked to find two white horses in the same race. Never saw that before.
In the late 40s or early 50s, my grand dad had a winning ticket on a gray horse named Miche, which upset the great champion Citation by a nose at Santa Anita. Much later I named a cat Miche, which was raised by friends in LA.
