End of era

Candlestick Park hosts its last game tonight and has been getting tons of press about the end of an era. But yesterday Hollywood Park had its last race, ending another era. The track was second only to Santa Anita in the hearts of horse players in Southern California.

Commission, Oregon Public Broadcasting, to write teleplay on Sen. Wayne Morse. Never produced. Becomes one-man play, American Gadfly, produced in 2004, then tours.

Publish seminal essay What Is Hypertext? on Internet. Translated into several languages, establishes online reputation.

Electronic Playwright-in-residence, Prisma, Santiago, Chile, resulting in The Last Song of Violeta Parra, a one-act hyperdrama.
