Great pitchers duel last night ... 1-0 Mariners over Rays at end of 8. Iwakuma brilliant ... 3 outs and a win. Alas, the closer comes in and before the Mariners get a shot, they are behind 2-1 ... I told H, there goes the ballgame when I. didn't pitch the 9th.
The Rays manager does NOT put in a closer and lets Price finish the game. No problem. I think M's would have won if Iwakuma pitched the 9th. The manager lost the game!
