First day of class!

I feel like a kid at school. Been looking forward to this chord theory class. I know something already but want the structure of a class and assume I'll learn things I can use. Class ends when school ends, good timing.

Home to read midterms, watch the Derby.

Derby Day 1959, hitched from Berkeley to Louisville, arriving D Day, didn't see race. Kept a journal, which I still have. Fascinating. Tell one of its stories in The Farewell Wake.
